We live backing up to a forest with a creek being the middle of our West property line.We moved in 11 years ago and had a heck of a population of moles ruining our small 1000 sq. ft. front yard. After 2 years of trying everything, I came across The Mole Chaser. Each one of the tubes is billed to cover 1/3 of an acre, or 13500 sq. ft. We had such a problem, I was desperate and decided to install 4 Mole Chasers, and we haven't has any more mole problems in 9 years. That tells me this gadget works. The batteries seem to last at least 2 months, so during the growing season, I'll change out the batteries about 3 times, and with one exception, we've had no mole infestation in 9 years.Incidentally, I can also advise of another trick. If you do get a new infestation, be sure to put on some latex gloves to lay down 1' sections of Hubba Bubba bubble gum several places in the bottom of their tunnels after carefully peeling back one side of a tunnel. The latex gloves are used to keep your human scent out.The moles love the sweet gum and eat it veroshisly. The gum works because they always eat it, but have no way of digesting it. This is my 2nd best way of keeping moles out. The best solution I've found again are these Mole Chasers.
