Why isn't anyone talking about the truth!? This game will tear your family and/or friends apart!!! This game is evil incarnate! I highly recommend it!

It's Risk, a classic game without doubt, BUT I was hopping for a little better inside elements, specially with the boxes of the armies, meanwhile other versions came with a plastic boxes where you could see the armies, this 60th Anniversary come with a nice designed, but at the end cheep feel cardboard boxes.Another missing for an Anniversary edition is some kind of dice case, it's pretty much just put them in a little square in the box. Finally while the map looks just gorgeous with the antique style, there is a big trouble with one sea connection between Asia and north America, it's barely visible and if you don't know the game for a previous version it can be passed by and affect the game mechanics. It's a great edition and a nice one to take to the table, but it could be better for the Anniversary.

For an anniversary set, the pieces and boxes were cheap. The 40th had metal game pieces...why not go bigger? Or at least keep the same quality? I don't regret buying it, but was disappointed with the thin cardboard.

I used to play this game over when I was a kid. Though I have not played for a long long time, I still love it. I decided to introduce it to my family, and we really enjoyed it. It's also a good way to reduce screen time. While the infantry and cavalry pieces look really cool, I wish it does not fall easily. We spend a considerable amount of time to keep them standing.

RISK is more of an historical simulation than a board game, a step above the likes of MONOPOLY and CLUE. (It was developed from a French game in the late 1950's.) The purpose of the game is world conquest through conquering (and holding) major geopolitical regions like Western U.S. and Kamchatka, and as such strategy and tactics play at least as much a role as merely rolling the dice. The game works best for adolescents and adults who enjoy the thrill of competition and team play. There's really nothing like RISK, not at this price anyway. It's a pity the playing pieces are so small, though.

This was a great game for my grandson and I to play together. The board game was easier for me than the digital and I think it is more fun. Its a different game every time we play.

It's good, but honestly the special plastic soldier pieces are kinda a pain to deal with when compared to the original pieces. Other than that this is pretty awesome. The packaging is over the top good.

Packaging is cheap. Don't expect the classic with plastic boxes.
