This is close enough to the original that I wore regularly in the 1990s and loved. It is tight on me, but I am now a lot fatter than I was back then. I am happy with this as it is better than anything else I can find for the same purpose.

The Shirt is as expected. Be careful to the size. Check the size guide on the brand website directly for a BDU Shirt. I order a S size and I wear generally L. If you upsize be careful of the drop shoulders effect if you don't like this.

I always wanted one of these . When one of my family members was in the ARMY he went to Vietnam when he came home he gave me his I was just a teen at the time so I always wanted another one..

It's pretty close in appearance only. Yes it's thin material. DO NOT PUT IN A DRYER. I love this jacket , shirt, whatever. I go thru one about every year. I work outside on a hot humid flightline. I wear it to keep sun off my skin
