Nice look, light weight, well made. Because it is wool it is itchy on fore head, if wool iritates your skin, get a cap made from different material.

Works well but this is not the same style used by the military. The military one is shorter and doesn't fold as much. This is almost as thick as a toboggan.

Works fine. Doesn't seem to be as tightly knit as issued watch caps 40 years ago, but it'll work!

It says it’s wool, the tags say it’s wool and it feels like wool so I have to reason not to think this is where the iterations of the Watch cap have lead. It may not be quite as heavy as the one that kept me warm in the North Atlantic in winter but it’s warm and fits snug on my 7-1/2” head and there’s plenty to pull down over the ears when needed. It’s far better, at least for me, than the acrylic and/or polyester winter hats that I’ve been wearing for years so I purchased another one. I’ve only had it a short time so I’ll stay with 4-stars until I get some more mileage on it this winter but it’s in the teens and the only thing not cold is my head.

This is the second one I have bought. The first was great so I ordered a second one. This time I ordered blue, but got black. It's a very nice hat and I don't care that much about the color, but I knocked it one star just because I didn't get exactly what I ordered.

The hat is very warm. The wool's clearly inexpensive and a bit scratchy, but it will keep your head warm.The knit is bulky, so it's a bit difficult to fold up and put in a smaller pocket, so if you're looking for something lighter weight for a warmer climate this might not be the best choice.I liked mine enough that I bought another after I lost it.

Hat shrunk in one wash and became unwearable because it became to small. I washed as described and have a normal human size head
