By Excellent boots for what they originally were meant for

For the quality, in between, you get what you pay for since this is a mass produced boot that emulates the key principles of the original M66 used in Vietnam. Its very lightweight with a reasonable amount of resistance to water and mud, BUT it lacks a steel shank for proper arch support like the original, overall these boots should have the trousers bloused ABOVE the boot and not tucked in the shaft. If youre looking to go vintage but at a budget, these are a 2nd go to pick but keep in mind, these are NOT work boots and will fall apart under extreme stress and wear if youre a wage slave blue collar

I normally wear 11.5 - 12 in shoes. I heard these run big and they are correct. Ordered an 11 and I still have plenty of room wearing thick socks. If you plan on spending any time in these buy some insoles immediately.

FORGET what your normal boot, or running shoe size is. These are military boots theyre supposed to run BIG. Do this stand with your heels against the wall wearing socks. Mark on the floor, with a pencil to the TIP of your longest toe. Measure in INCHES. Use the chart provided by Rothco.Remember if your foot is 10 inches (heel to toe) ordering a 10 will get you 11.75 inches. Use common sense your foot is not 11.75 inches. Look at the chart on Rothko's website for jungle boots sizing based off your FOOT measurement.

I've been wearing these almost everyday for roughly 3 months, they do not come with insoles but for the price I bought a set of Georgia boot insoles, with the new insoles and about a 2/3 week break in period they are extremely comfortable with an aggressive tread good for outdoor use, the leather does seem to be treated, giving it a decent amount of water resistance but also gives it a somewhat plastic feel but definitely appears to be genuine leather. Be warned that the leather will definitely crease at the toes so if you want boots that will look new ten years from now you'll need to spend more money, overall I think 4 out of 5 for bang for your buck, for a well performing outdoor boot, I would easily give it a 5 if they came with decent soles.

The boots are very well made and exactly like those I wore in the military years ago. They do run big though, about a size. I wear a 13 but a 12 would have been better.

I wear size 9.5 in normal shoes and hiking boots. I ended up with size 8.0wide in these boots to fit properly. Weird. The boots are also terrible without any insole, so after trying a handful of various insoles, which would effect my fit to be too danged tight, I ended up finding a thin, but strong flat foam dr sholes insoles that work perfectly in them. The soles are holding up except a half inch section along the inside of my right foot which look like they are beginning to separate. I've been using them for bushhogging, tilling, yardwork, and gardening, and also wearing them to work. With the little thin insoles and a good pair of darn tough socks, they are awesome.

I wear a 10.5 and they do not have half size. Chart and most people say buy 1 size down. I tried a 10. Sent it back cause still to large. Got a 9. Worked great. Bought Dr. Scholl's work boot inserts. Also worked great. Bought boot conditioner to help break them in and after about 2 weeks they wear like my sneakers. Alot of people complain about the smell and yes they do smell like rubber when you first get them. I just put them in the sun for the day and it was gone that evening. First pair I ever had were American made and lasted about 6 years. These are made from China, but half the cost of the real deal. We'll see soon enough I guess. All in all Iike them so far.

Well. Firstly they look great, nice and dark, good shape good design. The soles are nice and thick, they are going to make you an inch taller or so. It's good hard solid rubber too, not like those hollow soled walmsrt boots. I did notice that they size a bit big, I would order like a half size smaller than usual, very wide in the toe too. They aren't rainboots really, there are a couple vents near the bottom so you don't get trench foot. I actually just rubbed a couple drops of super glue gel right onto the little vent screens to seal them now it protects against puddles all the way up to where the laces start. My only dislike is that it doesn't have a zipper. I will probably use these for heavy duty wear. When I'm digging holes or out in the elements, and il get s daily wearing pair with a zipper.

I wear size 13 wide in shoes but had to get 11 wide in these boots. They are good quality and breath well. Very comfortable and durable, although I did put insoles in which made it even better.

If you need a jungle boot fast these came in a day. The boot size runs large. My son wears an 11.5 and he needed a 10 wide. They are not so light weight and stiff. Not sure if durability yet as he hasn't worn them only to try on.

I really wanted these Vietnam style jungle boots because I used to have them as a kid and loved them.. definitely need to buy a size smaller. I bought a size 10 and then bought a size 9 which I've never done. And it fit great but you will need to buy some insoles because they do not have any in them. I love the look so I will keep this pair. I will not use them for construction type work because my feet would be broken by the end of the day because they are not that comfortable. I would still recommend these if you were just into the style. Good to wear with jeans and a night out to the dive bar!!! Or you could use these out trumping through the mud if you live in the southeast on the coast. They're great because of the two drain holes for water on each boot.

I've had them for about a month now, no wear or tear. It can get creases but thats just how boots are, im 9.5 but the boot itself felt like 10 with a lot of toe space. So definitely go a size down. Other then that, very good results.

These are similar to my combat boots. I'm almost sure they are leather with mesh sides. I suggest putting insole for added comfort. I didn't buy for comfort. I bought for work and they are durable for that. Add a spit shine and they will last long time.
