I've been using flannel for years; different thicknesses. This is the softest, new flannel I've ever bought, and the medium thickness I sought. It has not been washed yet, so I don't know how it will hold up, vis a vis other reviews.However, so far, perfect.

Solid shirt, thick and heavy perfect for cold weather or cooler days, get a size bigger, it will shrink so be careful, hang dry is my best option, have had the same shirt for 3 years and still hasn't faded or torn
