Longevity is unknown from me i have used it a few times loosening hoses and worked well.

So, I'll never used this tool again. However, I do think it was worth it. Those hoses are a pain in the A$$ to remove.

The cats meow of specialty tools. Tool works as advertised. On my Yukon XL (2007) and Mercedes Benz S430 changing the hoses was a snap. Easier than ever before, especially twisting and pulling the hose off..

As the title says. Metal does not flex under extreme tugging, just be careful you don't get fired....

This tool worked perfectly. Took me 9 minutes to take off 3 different radiator hoses. These three hoses just would not move, no matter how hard I tried before. I even tried different size flat head screw drivers. None would fit in the tight spaces I had to deal with. This is a good sturdy product. The handle seems robust while fitting snug in your hand and the steal is tough as well. I would recommend this tool.

I bought this after struggling to remove a radiator hose by hand. This will help out tremendously! Hose came right off after slipping this on and moving it around.

Small tool can make a big difference, I used this to remove (2) hose clamps on a bilge hose. I could not get a straight screwdriver in place and this simple tool helped to get my hand in a cramped spot and break the seal on the fittings. You should have one of these in your toolbox if you want to remove a hose in difficult spot.

worked well to remove the coolant hose under the engine hood. In a limited space like under the hood, you may be fond of U-shape hose removers like this. I tried buying four more (Lisle 80200 Hose Remover Set - 4 Piece ...) but it turned out that this SG one worked the best. I am not saying that Lisle's are bad, they may be good for some other scenarios.
