Very breathable! I've washed it and it retains its shape.

This is my second OR Swift cap. These are weightless, quick drying and easy to hand wash in the sink. They fit great, and look sharp. The only downside to these is the strap back fastener. It is designed to separate, so one can unclip it, and re-clip it around a ponytail. Unfortunately, the closure design makes it too easy to come undone unintentionally. So sometimes the rear strap is open and hanging there. The bigger issue with that is that the rear strap is thus an unreliable place to clip this cap to a carabiner or even hang it on a hook. Since it comes undone so easily, you could quickly loose the cap. Sadly, there is no convenient loop or hook to use in its place. Instead, I have to separate the layers of strap webbing attached behind the fixed half of the quick release buckles and work that around the carabiner. It's really fussy and fiddly to get it on and off a biner or clip link--not what you'd want in a hat made for outdoor activity. OR please beef up that rear buckle so it reliably stays closed--or add a low profile loop for easy hanging.

The extra strap in the back doesn't stay tucked in very well.

Very much like the hat for outdoor activities. Light and stylish. The brim was a bit crooked when it arrived so trying to sort that out.

I love the comfort of this!! But the color fades badly within 1 year. This is my third one which i use more casually instead of big hikes and exercise, but still it looks rough after 1 year of gentile use.

The hat is very lightweight and fits well. I feel that it is a more feminine style than my other hats especially those that have a square look in the front. It has nice mesh like material on the sides to help with the heat.I also purchased no sweat golf hat liners because I noticed on my other hats that the sweat on the front inside was getting pretty dirty. This hat is like a nylon material which seems to be very easy to hand wash and very lightweight.I am very satisfied with the purchase.

Very light weight, fabric breathes well so it makes these hats my go-to when I do anything outdoors. I have purchased 6 of them over the last year, one in each color I like. Well made, adjustable band. Great hat for the price.

Not sure what I was thinking. Love OR and almost all of their products. Nothing wrong with this hat except that it gets dirty too easily. My fault. I still LOVE OR!

I am confirming the review written by Mac. It is a very nice, well ventilated cap. It's perfect for working out. However, as a previous review stated, they goofed on the strap. One end tucks under the sweatband. Unfortunately the end is not secured in any way. I'll have to pin or stitch it to keep it in place. It's a silly design error.

I love almost everything about this hat. It's super comfy, extremely lightweight, breathable, and does a great job of keeping sweat off my face while running. It's going to be my go-to hat for hiking/backpacking and most outdoor activities too, I'm sure.My one gripe is the strap. They decided to unnecessarily reinvent a mechanism that has functioned fine for decades, and it gradually loosens up on me over time. I may just sew the adjustable part in placeTo make it stay put for good. I really wish they had just put a normal closure on instead of whatever this thing is. Otherwise, it's absolutely perfect!

lol I don't remember this being a women's hat when I ordered it, but it seems fine on my man skull. I wear this hat everyday during my runs.Sometimes when I am running in heavy winds, the adjustment strap can be difficult to tighten in order to keep the hat on my head. I don't know how much of a concern that is though, because that's usually at the line right where its almost too windy to wear any hat without a rope under your chin.One more small complaint: I like to hang my hat on a door knob when I'm not using it. The adjustment snap in the back comes apart so easily that the hat ends up on the ground instead.
