I honestly thought that USB cable is a USB cable. But evidently not. I ordered 3 of these for our HP scanner to connect it to the Dell desktop in our office and none of these cheap cables worked. When I plugged them in, Windows 7 showed an error that &#34;USB Device Not Recognized&#34; -- see picture attached. And no matter what I did, it did not help. So I had to go back to our old cable... oh well....<br /><br />So be aware before you buy it.

I ordered these as back-up cables for Brother-HL printer. I thought I had a printer issue because I could not get the printer to work. Turns out neither of these cables work. Waste of money, but I didn't find out they were bad until I needed them. Too late to return them. I guess you get what you pay for :(

I bought the 3 pack of cables and they were all bad. I had a six foot cable that worked fine but when I installed the 10 ft cables they did not word. They were used on a Dell computer and Dell printer.

These cables do not work for the printer I have. If you have a Canon Pixma, look up the cord for it, because this will not work. Learn from my misfortune. I didnt know printer cables even differed. SMH

These cables do not work, period. Computer does not recognize them when a device is plugged in using them. After<br />chasing down the issue for almost 3 hours, I finally determined that both of these brand new cables are out of tolerance<br />and that was the cause of the error messages.

When the cable was used to connect a PC with a printer, the PC did not recognized the printer. Plugging in the old, shorter cable, did work.<br />When I purchased a genuine 6ft Belkin cable, it did work.<br />Not Recommended.

Spent HOURS trying to hook up my new printer. Finally figured out it was a bad cable. Got a different cable and my printer works fine.

This cable worked fine at first and was exactly what I needed. It stopped connecting to my printer (Brother HL) all of a sudden and I've tried everything. When I finally reinstalled the printer's driver, the installation software couldn't recognize that I even had a cable plugged in (I have tried 2 different computers). Going to the trash.
