The description said the pencils were 6 inches. They are not. The printed pencil is 5.25 inches. If you include the white border, the entire cutout is 5.5 inches. The paper the pencils are printed on is 6 inches.

Describing these as 6 inches is a little deceptive. The piece of cardboard they come in is actually 6 inches. One you cut out the pencil on the perforated edges, the actual length is 5 1/2 inches, but some of that is a white border. The image of the pencil itself is only 5 1/4 inches long. So these were a little smaller than I anticipated. I do like that you get a lot of them and that there are so many different colors included. Still disappointed that they will not be as large on the classroom wall as I had thought.
