Just wasn't as heavy duty as I was expecting. However I am using the bag successfully.

As presented! This is a very big, mid-quality duffle which got the job done. My eleven year old was off to Boy Scout summer camp and we needed something that would fit all of his gear and that he could carry. This product was recommended to us, so we purchased it. The collosal size fit everything it had to including sleeping bag, sleeping mat, 2 towels, light change of clothes for a week, three pairs of shoes, camp fan, water bottles and other light camping gear. The quality of the bag was fine, however, the canvas did appear a bit light when compared to more-expensive models and we would expect to see that. The carrying strap was also very cumbersome and my 100 lb eleven year old and he had a very difficult time with it. It looks like the more-expensive model with back-pack like straps were easier to carry for the boys. There is definitely a cost/convenience/durability tradeoff and you would need to weigh that into your decision.

Great size for team softball/baseball equipment.

The Pros: I bought this bag to take on the train, which has a 50 pound limit per bag. I crammed 49.6 pounds of clothing and miscellaneous items inside and still had room - the bag is HUGE! It has an arm strap along with the 2 hand carry handles to make toting heavier items a little easier. There are additional compartments on either side adding extra storage space and easy access to your things. The Cons: The shoulder strap doesn't have a lot of padding so it can dig into your arm if the bag is heavy and you're carrying it for a while. The zipper on the main compartment got stuck for me a few times, not necessarily going to happen with all bags. Overall: If you need a big bag without the big price tag this is a good buy.
