It's a little flimsy for a mic with any weight on it! I used it as a talk-back mic holder attached to the side of a boom stand for our keyboard player at the church, but it couldn't handle even having a SM58 mic on the end without slumping over at any angle. The only way to use it was to have the goose-neck straight up. Maybe a shorter stand would be better, but I needed the distance to reach the keyboard player. Wish it was a little more rigid to withstand the weight problem...
