It had mold growing on it. So gross. I would have never noticed it except i was tearing it into smaller pieces for a salad.

The flavor is oceanic! I put dulse on everything! From salads to smoothies, everything tastes better with dulse added!

Warning! There are tons of little critters in this product. I contacted the company to ask if this was normal and they said yes. I've enjoyed other types of seaweed from them without finding so many shells and shrimp, so maybe this kind is just prone to it. I'm not squeamish or a fan of wasting food, so I wouldn't mind except that the shells have a very unpleasant crunch. I picked through mine and saved what I could but I definitely won't buy this particular product again.

Even if you don't actually eat it or care for the taste of seaweed (kelp) if you add it to soups and stews for the mineral content alone that goes into the broth, it's an excellent way to add minerals to your favorite soup dish! Add some astragalus root sticks to boost your immune system and you've got a super soup, to aid in healing!
