Cute concept, poor quality control. Get what you pay for. Ours came with two right legs. Yay.

We have bought kits like these for 20 years for cousins and my own children. This one is probably the worst quality yet, but I suppose for what is basically a throw away toy, I can deal with that. However after chipping and brushing the skeleton out, it was missing the the jawbone. My daughter ground every little piece of rock down to dust and nothing. She was disappointed after all the work to not have all the pieces that were supposed to be in the kit, I think this is kit we will not be buying again.

This toy is okay to play with as an outdoor toy only. Do not try to spread newspaper on a table and allow your child to chip away at it. Dust from the soft concrete goes everywhere and makes a terrible mess. Playing outside on the patio or the driveway would be okay. My child does get excited when he finds a bone, but the mess is not really worth the amount of fun my child gets out of this toy.

While this was a good idea, the rock was so hard there was no way my daughter was going to be able to use the tools "as intended" to uncover the dinosaur bones. We have purchased at least 3 different kits like this and had no issues with them but we ended up having to drop this one on the concrete just to get it to break in half to get at the dinosaur. Since my daughter is into archaeology this kind of defeated the purpose of the toy if you don't get to "dig" as they suggested....guess this one missed quality control.
