Never having taught cursive before, I wasn't sure where to start with my homeschooled third graders. This book was on the cheap side so decided to take the chance. Both my kids have loved it! It has just enough practice per page that they are really picking it up. I think being older than when they started just basic print also helps. They have flown through enthusiastically. I only have them do one page a day. Now that they have all the basic formations, we are ready to begin copywork. This has been a life saver!

If you want to learn handwriting buy this book. At 84 years old, i enjoyed this third grade practice. Sound teaching and practice method booklet.

The number of pages is disappointing, but the intuition of the practices is superb! It really makes it easy to remember for my kids and learn each stroke correctly. This is the book to start on. I bought it again after my first went through it.
