It's a functional digital safe with a good size. You can use the shelves or remove them to fit larger items. The complaint about the batteries is real---without some additional support, they slide out of place, requiring the use of the key to open. I was able to fit some thin foam between the batteries and the plastic cover, and I haven't had any issues. At 100lb, it's a bulky safe that would take some effort to walk off with, and I can fit it inconspicuously out of the way. For its price ($250 total) and size, it met my needs.

Product I like to protect my valuables and documents, the batteries that don't last because they use double AA so once it runs it's course you need the key to open it up. It's a bit annoying but I deal with it.

Overall product is great, one issue I have found is that the battery compartment feels cheap and plasticy causing loose contact and because this is in the safe keypad won't work when this happens. So you better have the master key handy so ur not locked out.

Nice safe

I like the safe. Spacious, sturdy, clean looking interior.The key holder doubles as the cover for the battery pack. It's a nuisance and I scratch my arm on it often.Missing feature: interior L.E.D. lighting.

Not bad for the price. Remember you are trying to slow someone down not keep Fort Knox in your closet.

Good size but it is hard to get some objects in it because the door does not open fully.Also the batteries become dislodged easily and you have to open with the key. But overall I like it a d it suits my needs.

As long as you realize this safe is not a fireproof or waterproof you should have reasonable expectations. This is actually my second safe I purchased. They are both identical model numbers. The first safe was great but I needed a second safe of similar size to hold more items. After moving the safe in place I realized I was missing a shelf. A tall shelf is worthless if it only has 1 or two shelves! I also need a battery cover. Maybe the person who assembled my second safe was asleep on the job. Hopefully someone from Sentry Safe reads this and offers a replacement shelf and battery cover. Too much grief to return. With only 4 removable parts, how do you screw up quality control? Just count to four!

Only problem is battery case cover falls off but called manufacturer and it is a known problem and they sent upgraded cover which works fine

delivery took a while, some of the interior carpet was ripped because of transport and the shelves bouncing around inside, one of the corners is dented/scraped, but once here, good heavy safe with lots of storage.
