It works well and I like that I can plug it in but it is pretty quiet. I really expected it to be louder given its reputation. I have never found the perfect sound machine.

When I ordered this, I thought there was going to be more settings than just fan, but that was my bad for not reading. The fan sound is ok but it wasn't loud enough in my opinion.

I use this in my room for my 6 month old baby. This product was recommended by a family member whose practically swears by it. I do find that my baby is able to go to sleep faster and stay asleep longer but I don't think it takes away from any noise. I have read from other customers' reviews who say that they use it because their spouses snore. This did not work for me as my husband does snore and I have to kick out of bed; it's sad but true! I don't think that this product is worth the $50 as it's just a big piece of plastic that makes noise. I would not recommend this to anyone and won't buy this again when mine finally takes a dump!

Love the sound it makes - super relaxing. It's just not near loud enough for us.

It work for 5 moths ,7hrs on for 7 days . I really like it , but it die on me man.

Works well until it develops bearing trouble and begins to buzz or have a background high pitched whir sound. Lasted about six months before it began to intermittently produce these symptoms. However this was longer than my first one which did so after a month. I have had it a year now and really should return it to the company, but I haven't had time to deal with it. Such a hassle.

It's not very loud. I like my LectroFan a lot better.

Overly loud....needs a quieter low setting.

Bought this in August and was really enjoying it until the low setting completely stopped working last week. It's not a cheap product so I expected it to last a little longer than 8 months.

After 2 months of use you can hardly hear it... Wouldn't buy this one again...

It is okay. The small portable one is better.
