We loved this sound machine BUT only for about a year. And then it just starting to make a rattling noise- it sounds terrible. We haven't traveled with this one, so we didn't drop it or have it damaged. It has been on the same shelf for a year. It's just frustrating that it didn't last longer than a year. We have to get something else for our baby's room now. The rattling is too bad.

It worked great at first. Was exactly what I needed so I didn’t have to run a fan in my sons room all night. After only 2 months the fan would not run on low anymore, only on high. When I would turn it down to low it sounded like the fan tried to turn a bit but then just bogged out and stopped running. Now just 3 months in and it doesn’t work at all anymore! For the price I didn’t expect it to die out on us so fast. Very disappointed as this came highly recommended to us.

I have had several of these over the years. The older, heavier models worked much better for me and had the pure fan noise until they got old and worn out. This new one has a hum or whine from the motor that can be heard over the "whooshing" air sounds, no matter what volume or setting I use. For me it prevents good sleep. I must return this and get by with a regular fan.

Love it, but motor is already making a rattling noise after a year of use. For the price this should last much longer.
