We tried on big boy sized clothes at a local store assuming the sizes would coincide... they did not. We tried on a M10/12 and a L14...decided to order the large (thinking it would fit the same way). A little too big for my daughter... BUT I'm great a shrinking stuff. If not, I'm sure she won't mind wrapping a hair tie around the bottom side of it. She's normally a size 10/12 in girls. It's a great tee, but definitely order a size smaller than you normally would.

Aside from a youth XL being a bit bigger than I expected (I don't have kids and bought this as a gift), the shirt was great. Unfortunately, it was destroyed in a fire that ravaged my entire apartment and I never got the chance to give the gift, but I am sure my nephew would have loved it.
