Everything was fine, except for the lid. It slides out too easily, which makes the whole toy difficult to play with. We face it away to the thrift shop. And after reading what other reviewers said about the splintered wood, I’d say don’t buy this thing!

Disappointed in this. We love Melissa and Doug but this didn’t work. It’s was Christmas present and a month later with normal use many pieces are chipped and split.
