After surgery, my options were 1. Have my wife put my socks on every day, even when it is difficult for her to kneel or pick up my feet. 2. Get this sock aid that was demonstrated to me by the physical therapist in the hospital. I got the sock aid.What can I say about something this simple except that it is a very simple device that does exactly what I want. The piece is sturdy. It is plain. It does the job, getting the socks right from the toe clear up my calf.I love simple genius solutions.

If you have difficulty bending over to put on socks (e.g. after hip or knee surgery, or back pain), this tool is for you. Simply put sock over front end of the tool, drop tool with sock on it to the floor, put toes in opening, and pull up with the straps. Your sock is on.Particularly like the three finger front design that allows use with small socks - my wife's small socks would not fit on some other tools like this.

The slits make it easy to start my socks and more flexible makes it easier to use. I wear a size 7 women's shoe so this is perfect.

This was a great invention. It works like a charm. I'm 92 and it's a major event to put my sox on every morning. This product solved the problem at a very reasonable price. Extremely happy.

It is flexible, not rigid which makes it easier to get a sock or nylon knee high over the end without being too small for you leg. Grips socks well and glides smoothly.

This was $11 when I bought it can't believe it's now listed for $25 just a few months later. Is not worth $25. Two wooden spoons would work just as well. Many things would work just as well. And this works fine just not worth $25
