Used this to calibrate my Onkyo RZ-70 with Dirac Live. Did the job with zero issues. You can tell this is a quality omni directional mic as soon as you open the box.

I used this with Dirac room correction software for a Denon receiver. This was the calibration microphone Dirac recommended. Setup was very easy and worked well without any issues.

I love this measurement mic. I used it to get a picture of my 2-channel stereo in room response. Used it with Room EQ Wizard. It is accurate, pairs easily with my computer and does the job. Don't forget to download the calibration files!

Not as versatile as my old Behringer ( died) and IO box, but does work with my software ( Speaker design tools)

I use this to test speakers and for home theater calibration. It is a highly suggested mic by many Youtube guys. Easy to use and works great.

I've been using another brand of calibrated microphone for quite some when tuning my SQ car audio system with my DSP. It's been frustrating to say the least. With this microphone and the free REW (Room EQ Wizard) software available online, I've been able to make some major changes to my tune that I wasn't able to previously. This is hands-down the best money I've spent in a while in terms advancing the sound quality in my system. My system's sound has improved noticeably since I purchased this. If you're in a similar position, I cannot recommend this microphone enough. Excellent purchase!!!!

Great results measuring with UMIK-1/RoomEQWizard (REW), mixing gain/phase and creating convolution files in rePhase, then finally playing them in HQPlayer/Roon. Many other uses, and much more to the story. Please see roomeqwizard.com and rephase.org. Well worth the money and effort.

Using it with free REW software via pc in my car ,Type C connection is much better then Umik1 v1's micro B interface ( only type C version is available today )Does the measuring job and compatible with car DSP ( Helix / Brax ) to have the min adjustment automatically from REW to DSP.Calibration file is representing the batch produced,if you are really in to very deep analysis , they also produced 2x priced umik 2 having 24/192 KHz instead of 24/48 of Umik 1 ( umik 2 ; said to have individual calibration file )

Bought this to adjust the performance of my new SVS subwoofer, which comes with features such as Room Gain Compensation and PEQ's. Took about 10 minutes to set up the mic, plug the HDMI into my AVR, and set REW to the suggested settings per their website. 10 minutes and like 30 sweeps later, I had my bas all sorted out, 3 different PEQ's fixing dips and spikes. Easier than I expected. Plan to use this to adjust my new Yamaha AVR which has additional PEQ's, to tun eout the midrange and high frequency range. Don't let the REW tutorials on YouTube scare you...you can get by just fine out of the box hooking this mic up and just setting the options to the REW page setup options.

My first mic was defective but the second one worked fine. This mic used with REW software is about the best investment you can make in hifi!
