Have used these stools for years camping and at the beach. They are comfortable and very durable.

The stool is very sturdy and the price is great. We got it for the lady at our church that does the children's messages. She likes being down with the children, but has trouble getting back up from the floor. This lightweight stool was just what she needed, and it folds away nicely.

Besides it is not convenient to carry because it doesn't have a shoulder strap, I love everything this stool provides, excellent customer service put this product 5/5. Super lightweight and its structure is sturdy. I bought it for my elderly mother and she loves it but she only weights 120 lbs in a small frame. If you are heavier in the bottom then it may not be comfortable for you to sit for more than 15 mins. Bottom line is if my elderly mom can easily fold, carry and feel secure sitting in it, then it is a good portable chair :)

Using this as portable ottoman. I put a pillow on top of stool, rest both legs on any chair I sit on and when I get up, I fold it away.

I got this to keep in my pickup toolbox with my fishing gear. It makes it so much easier to put waders on and take them off with this. It's super light-- lighter than I expected. It also doesn't take up much room. I'm 6'0, 215, and it works fine for me. My wife is 5'4, and it's great for her too.

I like to backpack and am 70 years old.I don't like to have to role onto my side, get on my knees and finally push up from the ground, each time I get up. Likewise I don't like some of the high end backpacking chairs that are much lower and require me to use my hiking staffs to get up and out of.This chair is the right height and width and simply straps to the outside of my pack. Might look clunky but it is easier to get to on a break than any of the high end chairs.

Simple and easy to use. Just folds up and is very light weight. Good for camping or where ever you need to bring your own chair. I like sitting on it. I sit on it in the morning, afternoon, and sometimes at night. I like sitting, sitting is good sometimes, and with this you can sit!

I prefer this style over the tripod - less unwanted attention to the family jewels (if you get my drift). I got this as a replacement to one of those folding ones held together by an elastic band which was junk. This seems solid, it is very light, good height and I have faith in the Coleman name. I am very pleased so far and will try to update if I encounter issues over time.

This sturdy Coleman camp stool is perfect in size, quality and price. It is lightweight and easy to carry. It has a 1-year limited warranty which speaks of Coleman backing its products. Highly recommend.

I bought this after my best friend recommended I do so. He has one and really likes it. He used one just like it when he was in the military. He always give me good advice. So, I ordered one for myself. Yet again, he was right. It is light weight, easy to fold, it's very sturdy, and there's even extra storage inside the legs of the stool for small things like windproof matches, a small flashlight, etc.

This is my second Coleman Folding camp chair. The other one is still working just fine. They are so lightweight and sturdy that they can be used just about anywhere an extra seat is needed. They fold and pack easily. I know for a fact they can hold at least 225 pounds although their sales info may say otherwise for safety and liability purposes.
