This cleaner does an excellent job of removing coffee pot stains. Subsequent pots of coffee had a cleaner taste. I only give it 4 stars because I have a small pot that only uses half a packet. I must guess at how much to use for my 4-6 cup pot. A small-pot two pack or even a mention in the directions of how much to use with smaller capacity pots would be great.

The packet directions state to fill your percolator 3/4's full then percolate for 15 minutes, but no matter how little water I put in the pot or how low the heating element is, the contents always seem to overflow on the stove. As a consequence, some of the coffee pot does not get cleaned.I continue to purchase this product however as I haven't found anything that works well.

I would just like to say that while the product works fine; the cost is rather high for one packet. We were able to find it at the grocery store for significantly less.
