Insanely bright for its size, it replaced a 100 lumen Bontrager Ion 100 R light that was swiped off my handlebars. Long lasting battery, which was expected given its triple the size of my last light. The body has a nice solid feel to it without feeling too hefty. Side visibility is much better than my previous light and the battery indicator is nice and gives a more advanced warning that my last light. The gripes? The control(s) are clunky as the modes are cumbersome to cycle through and the button has a thick rubber cover making it a bit hard to press with gloved hands; a small price to pay for good moisture resistance. I would have preferred a mount that stays on the bike, rather then wrestling with the strap after every trip and having to re-aim the light. Also, the thick strap offers a lot of compression force, and given my tapered handlebars, the light constantly 34;walks34; and aims to the left; the strap also makes on the fly adjustments a little difficult when alternating between shining into traffic and illuminating the pothole ridden terrain being consumed by your front tire. I tried to tough it out and grow accustomed to this light, but the little plastic retaining tab holding the rubber strap to the body cracked. Had to return this one; I may consider buying one of the upgraded models as a replacement.
