I was sucked in by all of the hype of the new design of rechargeable batteries and bought several sizes to try. Even this new design still only produces 1.2 Volts versus 1.5V of an Alkaline. All of my remotes, wireless keyboards, wireless mice, or anything with some intelligence will quicly complain that your battery is low because is sensing the 1.2 Volts of this freshly charged rechargeable. Its not only annoying but some devices will shut down. Soon after I invested in these new rechargeables, my vendors of remotes and wireless devices starting producing keyboards or mice or whatever with no need of replacing any batteries. MANY of them have specially designed and built in Lithiums and you just plug a simple USB cable in to recharge while you are working. What about flashlights? You will see most good LED flashlights moving to rechargeable Lithium CR-123s or the even better Lithium 18650 that everyone else is already using in their Vaping rigs. They are everywhere now.
