I purchased one and the lights and sound quit working shortly thereafter. I replaced the batteries and it still didn't work. I exchanged it for a replacement and it also was faulty. So, two for two fail. It looks very cool and I still use it as a candy stash, but sans light and sound.

Batteries in it didn’t work, so I have no idea if the lights and sounds actually function properly.

Didn't know it was going to be plastic. It doesn't have a very tight seal either. But it's cool cuz it's Dr. Who

It’s a nice item but I am annoyed that it was clearly a return with some scuffs on the top and dead batteries. Unfortunately I need it right away.

The sounds don't work and there isn't a switch button to turn them on. The lid is a little wobbly. The canister insert - brilliant idea.

It was supposed to have sound effects when the lid opens and closes but it's so faint you can't even tell. And it's plastic, not ceramic. But my sister will like it and I suppose that's all that matters.

It's a great replica, but the lid don't stay closed. Not great for keeping anything fresh. Using as decoration now.

The detail on the exterior is nice. The flashing blue light and sound didn't work at first, so I replaced the battery. Then it only worked intermittently for a few days and then quit altogether. Should have returned it.

Three stars for being a pretty good likeness of the TARDIS. However, mine arrived nonfunctional and I replaced the batteries and sounds and lights still don't work. I'm in the process of returning it and going to try to order it again and hopefully get a working one.

It's cute. Cheap but good plastic. Wish the tardy noise was louder. It's rather quiet.

I love the look of it, but make sure you save the box (or give a gift receipt with it). The lights/sounds in mine stopped working after about a week. Replaced the batteries and still no good. I think the electrical connections in it are just not that great. Kept it because we love Who and we received it as a gift lol.
