The Sylong Stroke Resting Hand Splint for finger stabilization gives me mixed 3 to 4-star feelings. The product does its job, and the soft splint keeps your hand flat. It is not easy to put on; you will need the lights on to get it done. There are too many straps, and the part for the thumb is awkward and does not fit well. I keep my thumb out, and the product does keep the rest of my fingers straight. It is flexible, so you can give your digits a little bend, as recommended by my OT. I am glad I purchased this product; I make it work to help me get a better night's sleep. If the manufacturer fixed the thumb situation and made it easier to put on and take off, I would give this splint a higher rating.

I needed something to help with carpal tunnel in my right hand-- specifically to brace my hand/fingers while sleeping, as the pain became disruptive at night.I tried other braces intended for carpal tunnel, but they did not support the fingers and thumb, which I needed. This does. It is also a firm but flexible enough frame to fit to my desired shape, and enough sturdy velcro straps to hold it in place (for the most part--I have apparently taken it off in my sleep some nights).Seems well made; the mitt has a hidden zipper, I'm guessing to allow for easier laundering, but I haven't fussed with that as yet. My only complaints are the thumb frame stiffness and how the velcro strap fits around the thumb-- it's not sewn down to the mitt in the most optimal spot, so it is awkward to wrap around the thumb given all the other straps, and even then, it doesn't feel secure around the thumb, making it more bothersome than necessary. That bit could use some redesign work. All the rest is great, even if the many straps makes this a bit of effort to put on. Really does help ease the pain, though-- stretches fingers, immobilized my distressed hand and wrist joints.Good product for the money. And, if ever needed, for the left hand, too.

I had trigger finger release surgery which remains persistently tight 3 months post-surgery.When I sleep I tend to curls my hands and arms which would allow my release fingetr to get tight and painful every night. In desperation I searched for some sort of brace that would keep my fingers splayed open and this splint provides this! Additionally I could manipulate the splint so my fingers would be hyper extwended which provides a nice stretch. While I am still wrestling this post surgery tightness I feel this splint has helped immensely in proceeding to full recovery.

This is an excellent splint. I would give it a 5 star rating except that the velcro adhered only about 4 or 5 months. There is a 12 month guarantee and the seller quickly replaced the splint. I would give the seller a 5 star rating for outstanding service. My suggestion is that they use industrial strength velcro. Our daughter will be sewing some industrial strength velcro onto the splint.
