This bookshelf is sturdy and attractive, and was easy to put together. I would definitely purchase again if I needed another bookshelf.

This is just what I hoped. Taller that onter book stands, with the open back. I wanted it so I could put plants near the window.

Very solid and nice real wood. Good solid weight. Assembly, 1st part, easy and can be done by 1 person. Finishing the legs and attaching bottom shelf needs two people or one person with 3 or four arms.

Looks good: The design is simple but well done, slight bevel on top piece and bottom legs, the thin single backing that wraps around the sides, all work together.Easy to put together: You know how sometimes some assembly required turns into a pain in the ass? Not here, everything fit nicely. Large screws looked daunting but went in without hassle using the provided Allen wrench.

Overall, decent buy. It is really orange looking. I was expecting it to look more like the picture. The screws were hard to screw in to the top piece and I was a little mad that a regular drill couldn't be used.The plus is, it seems to be pretty sturdy. I can't tell if it's all wood but it sure is sturdy like it's all wood. I also like that it doesn't look really cheap. Don't get me wrong...it doesn't look expensive, but it doesn't look cheesy.

Needed horizontal space for my study. This unit was easy to assemble and is decent quality. I would recommend it for a simple, functional unit.

This bookshelf is made out of solid wood and has heft to it. The finish is a pleasant honey color. All the parts came with it and the screw holes lined up properly and the Allen screws went in without trouble. The top was a bit tricky. It helps to have a rubber mallet to pound the second side member into place and to tap the screw hole cover plugs into place. You really need two people to do it easily. It took about a half hour for my wife and I to assemble it. Some of that time was used to epoxe the dowel protrusions of the back cross members. You probably don't need to do this. I just like to over engineer stuff. I would have given this bookshelf five stars (for the money) but it came with with damage to the bottom of two of the shelves, which doesn't show, and a dime sized ding on a side member that does show. The box was fine, so I have to assume it happened before it was packed for shipment. Over all it is a nice looking, sturdy unit.

I have gotten two of these. They are solid, nice-looking shelves that are easy to assemble.That said, a couple warnings:The first one was a bit damaged in shipping. The wood seems to be on the brittle side, and so is vulnerable to the slings and arrows of the shipping process. The damage was minor, so I ignored it, but for some people that might have been a deal breaker.The second one survived shipping without injury. I was interested to note that it was not quite identical to the first (even though I had ordered it off of the same page, a couple months later). The differences were subtle, and didn't bother me, but if you're looking for an exact match you may want to order all the shelves at the same time. I suspect that they switched suppliers.Overall, a nice shelf for the money.

This product arrived in good condition, well packaged and on time. I assembled it in less than one hour. It appears as promised in the description with a nice honey tone. It is sturdy and will work well as a small bookcase for cookbooks, etc.Cons: there were a few nicks and dings on the wood but the worst them were on the bottom part of the shelves and will not be noticeable. I already have a wood pen to fix the one scratch that is visible. One of the screw holes was misaligned and so the top shelf is only screwed on in three spots (not four), but that isn't an issue with stability (but if the same thing happened with one of the shelves that would have meant sending it back).

solid wood product, easy to assemble with cordless drill with correct Allen bit, nice size next to desk. CONS: made from that nasty Asian hardwood that's a few steps up from particle board covered in photo finish wood grain.

This bookshelf was purchased for my kitchen to hold a TV and cook books. Packaging was very good. Form, fit, and function of the assembled shelf is wonderful. One person assembly was easy and speedy. Assembly time was minutes using a power screwdriver and rubber mallet,..unnecessary, but great time savers if available.

The wood is solid and attractive, but we cannot assemble the bookshelf because the box of hardware is missing. There is NO phone number to call or website to get replacement parts. Instead, you have to FAX a form explaining your rationale for the needed parts. The form says to wait two weeks for the parts after faxing the form. We specifically chose 2-day shipping (Prime) rather than purchasing a similar item elsewhere because we needed the item for the start of school. Now we have to wait an extra two weeks. A big bookshelf we can get in 2 days, but it takes 2 weeks for a small box of screws to assemble it? Mistakes happen, but the process for fixing mistakes needs some serious improvement with this manufacturer.

I bought the book shelf, computer desk, writing desk, file cabinet, printer stand and corner table. This does exactly what I needed, fits in the corner seamlessly. It is sturdy, matches well, provides a little extra desktop space and was easy to assemble. . Four stars is the best I give unless it exceeds my expectations. I would recommend it.Not considered in my rating.... The bottom drawer of the file cabinet does not have a bottom but it still does the job. Also, one of the six pieces came with a slightly different finish.
