Maybe a bit too light, though. I ended up needing more bookshelf space and used this to display small, light objects.

Great product for the price point. Don't expect Amish made at this price though. Works great for our kids books.

This is a decent piece of furniture, especially for the economical price. My husband had it put together in about 20 mins. Fits perfectly in a cubby we have in our finished basement.

We were looking for this size book cases to hold dvds etc.along side our new tv stand.(read reviews)We were so happy to find shelves of this size!Assembly was very easy. The three tier book shelves work great along side our new tv stand for additional speakers and storage. Follow the assembly instructions, not to tighten all screws until assembly is in tact!

Better than some of the reviewers led one to believe. I bought it for the size and appearance - and it fits the bill. A bit harder to put together than anticipated and there was the place or two warned about where the finish didn't quite cover, but a furniture color stick from the hardware store covered that nicely. Overall very happy and for the price can't complain.

The shelf arrived with the packaging intact and all pieces in the box. Assembly was very easy and all screws were tightened without stripping the pilot holes. Once assembled I would say that the shelf exhibited about 2 - 3 degrees of lateral sway. After I added books this was reduced in half. The middle shelf (not adjustable) is not screwed to the carcass as the top and bottom shelfs. During assembly pins are pressed into the carcass, and the shelf, which has oversize holes, is installed on the pins. This eases assembly, but contributes to the sway that is observed. It's not detrimental to the performance of the shelf, but it was an observation. The literature promotes the shelf as being 28" wide x 30" tall x 13" deep. These are the overall dimensions of the shelf. The depth of the two shelfs is 11 1/8". The height of the opening for both shelfs is 12 1/4". The finish is promoted as antique walnut and I would agree with that description. The image has a little more "red" than walnut, but this could be contributed to the monitor. In conclusion, for me, the shelf is well designed, easy to assemble, pleasing in appearance, and fits my needs. Would I buy another, yes.

I found these cases to be fairly simple to assemble by looking at the universal(picture only) instructions. It took me about two hours to put the first one together. I needed a hammer to tap the wood pegs in the shelves. It was tight working with the allen wrench screws, a phillips head screw would have been easier work. They are stable and attractive as well as a good solution in tight spaces.
