I read other reviews and agree about the stand up part of it. I can click it into the upright position but sometimes as I am carrying it to its resting place it drops down. It is not enough to discourage me. I love how easy it is to empty and how much animal hair and sand it picks up. This is really important since I live in a beach resort. I am very pleased!

We bought the animal model since we had an old Dyson that needed retirement (7 years) but this is an amazing product and worth the money if you can afford it. Easily taken apart for cleaning you can see the cyclone at work and with the hepa filter I can finally breathe again.

I love my new Dyson. We have another one that is 25 years old, but I needed one for my long hair on the carpet. The Dyson Ball Animal works GREAT! My Dad was even impressed! Well worth the money! Very satisfied.
