I bought this attachment to clean the dog hair on my bed or on anything really, works great 10/10. It works great at picking up hair and as it says, it really doesnt get tangled. It is very loud though that I have to use headphones when its being used. Rating it 5 stars since it helps alot with the dog hair so oh well.

I love this attachment more than my Dyson vacuum, itself. this is quite an incredible device that increases the overall value of my Dyson investment, to the point I am so happy with the results? As long as they continue to make this attachment/accessory? I will continue purchasing Dyson.

Works so great! No need to even apply pressure - just run it over upholstered surface and it gets all the little animal hairs that other attachments don't!

I've loved Dyson vacuums for years but this tool was a game changer for furniture of a dog owner. Suction power strong enough to pick up dog hair in one pass ! Worth every penny.

Don't be misled by reviews claiming that the suction is not powerful enough to move the brushes. I think these people have poorly maintained machines. I have had my Dyson Ball DC24 v8 for over ten years, and it's definitely one of my more intelligent purchases. The brushes on the attachment move just fine and do a solid job removing stuck-on pet hair from surfaces.

Takes off all scuffs, hair, and dirt. My animal vac broke a week after I got this, but I purchased this as second because I loved it on my animal ball so much and I wanted a second one for things not furniture- but I was devastated for a few moments because the attachment does not work on my new cordless Dyson. But to my dismay and joy- it works on my Dewalt shop vacuum and our carpets in our car are perfect! I also bring in the shop vac for heavy cleans now with it too. It's as important to me as any other tools in my tool box!

I had one previously but the outer plastic broke so I needed a new one. Works perfectly for stairs-that's my main reason for getting it. Great suction and nothing gets tangled up in it.

I don't have stairs but this is sized right to do the job. Used it specifically for vacuuming cat trees and upholstery. It worked great. Perfectly sized to reach nooks and crannies. Suctions just enough without pulling on fabric.

My partner removed the carpet in our house, but decided to leave the stairs for the time being because of the cost to replace them. That means the ONLY carpet in our house is the stairs, so they collect ALL of the floor debris from the entire house. And we have four cats. Keeping the stairs clean was kind of a lost cause. Neither the Dyson vacuum not the Dyson hand-held vacuum we're worth using on them. I would basically use a cleaning brush and brush everything to the landing, then sweep it up. It would take almost an hour, so I'd only do it before company was coming over because they'd be dirty 2 days later. I just finished using this attachment, and it took me about 15 minutes. Love it. The spinning mechanism is really clever. I've always been annoyed by vacuum attachments that are super wide, but the only suction is in the center of it. This thing brushes the hair toward the suction. So worth it.

I have 2 very big short hair dogs (bully breeds), but I bough this for MY hair (very long). Mine always wrapping around vacuum brushes. Once a week I have to cut it off w scissors, but not at all with this!I was surprised how much of a difference it makes w dog hair! My dogs' hair is an entirely different situation... easy to vac off floors and rugs, it never clogs rollers, but the short hair of their smooth stiff coats gets into the weave of my furniture upholstery. With a traditional brush roller, Id have to vacuum over and over from every direction to get the hair that gets into the weave from every direction.. This is miraculous.. it had nothing to do with not clogging.. it's that the bi directional rotation sweeps everything out of the cloth... it was completely unexpected, I cant believe this isnt advertised as a giant benefit to anyone with a smooth fur baby that's allowed on Furniture.

I was mistaken when I bought this, thinking it was powered. That was the only mistake. Someone really did their homework with the turbine driven gear reduction. The final drive makes the rotors spin fast enough to be effective but still have enough torque to not stall unless you really drive the unit into the furniture/carpet.It's gentle too. I would not be afraid to have the wife run this on a t shirt or hoodie instead of tape rollers. Wouldn't use it on anything delicate in that fashion though.
