As a coach-pitch coach, I have tried seemingly every brand of safety ball. Many are too soft. Others burst apart after only a few hits. Some don't pop off the bat. But these are absolutely perfect. They are firm like a real baseball, but definitely have more give, making them much safer. They are made with high quality materials and are very well constructed. And these explode off the bat. I cannot recommend these enough. We will never try another brand.

I really like these for kids who are 8-10. Hard balls are really hard, and the RIF 5 balls (which are much more common) are fine to throw with, but terrible to hit with. Kids really whack a level 5 ball, and it still goes nowhere. This ball comes off the bat a little harder, but not as hard as a real ball. At under $40 a dozen, the price is right. Rawlings makes a similar ball that is close to $100 a dozen.

nbsp;I purchased the same balls that they buy in our little league. Came in a box of twelve and a perfect match. High quality balls. Check out my product video review. Click 34;Helpful34; if you like the review.

These are great balls that my 5 year can hit without causing too much vibration in the bat. Also helpful when he drills one right back at me. Quality seems good and I expect them to last.

Exactly the same balls we used for tball and boys 7 for the last 3 years. Well made and good grip to the ball.

I picked up a box of these to use coaching my son's baseball team and to handout for gameballs. The dozen we were given by the leauge were some cheap brand that had a synthetic covering that did not last very long. The MacGregors here were of a much higher quality.

These balls are great. They are soft, but not as spongey as the soft tee ball ones. Came individually wrapped in a package of 12. HIghly recommend.

I love these baseballs. These are the best Tee-balls I have seen. They have a real leather cover, quality raised seam stitching, and a great overall feel. I realize MacGregor is not the first name you think of when you buy sporting equipment but they know how to make a top of the line baseball at an affordable price.

Balls are high quality and feel like real balls but are soft enough if the kids get hit with them. My son took a ground ball in the face and took it like a champ

I got my 6 year old daughter a dozen of these to hit and throw around the backyard. There was a softer youth ball, but I got the slightly harder level 5 (still soft enough).

Bought these because they are what are used in my 8 year old sons games. We received a dozen individually wrapped in plastic inside a box. We couldn't find these in the many stores we went to and decided to look online. We even received the box early.

Nothing to complain about, it's a good quality level 5 ball. They seem to hold up quite well. This is the last soft level just before the hard balls. We use for our 5-6 year old division.

Previous reviewer claimed he got one ball for each order. It says a dozen and that is what I got. 12 balls individually wrapped in a box. I bought these particular ones because they are the exact ones used by our local little league. I've bought "5" balls at Dick's before and they turned out to be t-balls, really soft, these are just right.

I needed to buy more baseballs for my little league team (ages 7 & 8). These proved to be perfect. Very durable; they will last!

Level 5: This is a very good ball for coach pitch, junior leagues, and casual play. It has the same size, weight, look, and overall quality feel as a good standard baseball, just more forgiving on impact with the body. While we were practicing, my 7 year old son took a high fly ball directly to the cheek bone. I was amazed how quickly he shook it off, within seconds, much quicker than I did. I proceeded to hit him some grounders and mini-pops, but within a couple of minutes he was asking for more high pop flys. It left a bruise, but nothing like a hard ball. One negative is that the somewhat absorbent ball cover stains very quickly and easily, and is impossible to clean. I sprayed a couple with leather waterproofing conditioner and it seems to help.

I ordered 1dz balls and got all 12 baseballs. the little league team I coach is 6-10 year old and they use a pitching machine. This is the best ball I found to go through a machine and hit the strike zone every time with out leaving a bunch of white crap all over the wheel of machine. For the price it is the best machine pitching ball I found and have tried many diff balls. Macgregor makes a good ball. just because the amount of balls the last review got were wrong dont mean the balls were bad. order this ball from another sports dealer for that matter. but for the ball itself. very good for that age group of kids.
